London is basically amazing and I can't wait to go back. In two days we managed to walk so much that my legs were soar, but it was definitely worth it!
We could not have asked for a better hotel location. We were right across the river from the London Eye.
St. Paul's Cathedral. Oh the perks of walking around early in the morning. The city was empty other than those running along Thames River.
At Shakespeare's Globe Theater.
Such a cute little shop! I wish it had been open. "It's Always Sunny in Here."
Oh I am such a dork.
On the London Eye at night. Worth the wait in line.
From the gates at Buckingham Palace to...
Big Ben our second day was filled with sites.
Then we ventured to the Underground to...
Brick Lane Market for the day. Check out the map of all of the vendors. There were so many food vendors and vintage clothing stores, plus so much more.
Hmm what to have for lunch. I could not believe how many different food vendors there were. Definitely a must for any foodie going to London.
Then off to Harrods. I mean we had to go to the largest department store in Europe. I of course found the food section and the cakes.
I really, really wanted a piece of this cake.
Then to finish off our last night in London we had a cocktail at Bar Americain and an awesome meal at Bill's.
Then back on the sleeper train on our way back to Glasgow.
