The Big Apple...NYC

Hello New York!  Some day I want to live amongst your tall buildings.  I want to work in my favorite bakery and learn how a successful one runs.

When you pass by the original Magnolia Bakery and there's no line, you have to go in.  Seriously some of the best carrot cake I have ever had.

And the best place to go eat it that is right around the corner on the High Line Park.

With views like this the High Line Park is must.  Plus you can leave there and wonder around Chelsea Market.

Now when you are in NYC you must go and see One World Trade Center.  It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and truly incredible.

The side of the fire station right next to where the Wold Trade Centers once stood.

Sunset over Central Park and

Dinner at the Boat House rounded out a great Friday.

Saturday started with a run through Central Park...

And ended with an Old Fashioned at Les Halles, my mom and I's favorite French Restaurant.

We made it back to DC, but I wanted to stay in New York...
